Meet Your Photographer

Photography is my passion. I love to photograph people the way they are and capture everday moments that seem ordinary at the time, but years later makes you wish you could live it all over again.

Hello, I’m Christie!

I’m a native Californian, now living in Eagle Mountain, Utah. I fell in love with photography in high school and have been photogarphing life ever since. In early 2019 I finally realized my dream of having my own photography business. However, life had a different plan. Later that year I became a widow and ended up taking a three year break from growing my business. Now, I’m back, specializing in family documentary and portrait photography. I’m a mother of three wonderful, patience testing, kids and a dog mom to our spoiled dog Lucy. When I’m not working on my photography, I love hiking, reading or binge watching a good series on Netflix (have any recommendations?).

You may be wondering why you should hire me to be your photographer. Well, for starters, I’m pretty chill. I feel that life is best lived in a pair of jeans, a graphic tee and a gently worn pair of your favorite shoes. I’m friendly, kind, patient and compassionate. Easy going, easy to talk to and a very good listner. I like to take the time to have a conversation before our session takes place, so I can get to know the personalities I’ll be capturing with my camera. A quirky kid, a loving mother, a playful father. I love to see the beauty in each and every person that I see through my lense and aim to get this in my photographs every single time. And that’s something I’m excited about sharing with you!

Fun facts about me.

  • Sweet tooth

I love sweets! Even though I’ve been practicing self control in this area, every now and then I love to enjoy a good brownie, cinnamon roll, sugar cookie or a chocolate sunday. Basically anyting sweet and delicious.

  • Book hog

I like to read. Sometimes I don’t have the chance to read as much as I’d like, so I may have a handful of books that I haven’t finished yet. But, that won’t stop me from buying a book I find intersting to add to my collection.

  • The outdoors

I love being outside. Whether in the mountains, at the beach, or in my backyard. Being outside surrounded by nature, feeling the wind or warmth of the sun on my skin and taking in the smells, is just so therapeutic.

  • When I grow up

When I was younger I wanted to be a veterinarian. I’m not quite sure what happened wtih that. But, I do love animals! One of my dreams is to own a mini farm. I’d love to have cows, ducks, goats, alpaca and of course dogs!
