It’s great to be eight! Turning eight years old is an exciting and significant milestone, especially within the LDS faith. It marks the moment when boys and girls can partake in baptism and officially join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One way families like to commemorate this significant milestone is by getting portraits done of their eight year old. While capturing photos at a temple is traditional for some, unique spots like this Locomotive Park can offer an equally meaningful setting, especially when a temple is not close by. I got to tell you, baptism portrait sessions are one of my favorites! Eight year olds are so much fun, and I love how their kind and joyful spirits radiate through their portriats. Just like this kiddo right here, my nephew. Working with him during his photo session was a delightful experience, and I am thankful for the chance to capture memories of this significant milestone in his life.
